I have always been an avid reader and was so happy when I graduated from college because it meant I could finally start reading books that interested me again instead of text books and other books I had been required to read for classes. I had forgotten how much I loved to read and am so happy that I have since been able to re-find that love and passion and explore new places through the books I choose.
My genre of choice is chick lit, but when I discovered what a cozy mystery was I added it to my list. The Chick Lit Guide will feature reviews of both because in my opinion a cozy mystery is pretty much chick lit, just with an added element of surprise!
I started The Chick Lit Guide in July of 2012 because I realized how many books I was reading and how often when I was searching for a new book I visited a site much like this one to get someone else's opinion on what I should read next. I would scour reviews and finally after lots of searching pick my next adventure. I am hoping to shed some light for other users out there looking for the next great book that will leave them smiling.
I am also more than happy to read and review books. Though, I do ask that they please be of the chick lit and cozy mystery genre.
